Satin Pothos

(1 customer review)

Scindapsus pictus argyraeus

The Satin Pothos is a popular trailing/climbing houseplant. The velvet like variegated leaves with flecks of silver make it really special. A perfect beginner plant or a lovely addition to a well established house jungle. The Satin Pothos isn’t actually a Pothos it just looks like one!

Light : Bright indirect sunlight will be best for this lovely Pothos.

Water:  This little lady needs moist soil, but not wet. She’s quite hardy so you can let her dry out a little bit between watering.

Humidity: A bathroom or kitchen dweller she likes moisture. A misting wouldn’t go amiss (sorry) too.

Temperature: She is not draught tolerant so best to keep her warm and away from any sudden changes in temperature.

Food:  You can feed her in the spring and summer months.

Toxicity:  Your satin pothos is mildly toxic to pets and people if ingested.

Damaged foliage could mean she’s got a bit too cold. Take her away from any draught.

Brown leaf tips mean she’s probably a bit too dry and needs some extra humidity. Try misting her or grouping her with other plants.
