Raindrop Peperomia

‘Peperomia Polybotrya’

Well this is a beauty. Some of the time I choose things to stock that I’ve never seen in real life – and I have no idea what they’re going to look like in the flesh (stock photos from growers are pretty poor) and then they arrive and I am overwhelmed with how gorgeous they are – this is one of those plants. It just exuded health. I can’t explain it. It’s super green, super shiny and super full. It just looks so happy to be a plant and it makes me happy being in its presence! I got so carried away with how this fella looks I forgot to write anything useful about it… it looks a bit like the Chinese Money Plant but it’s not – these are a much fuller plant and in my opinion the leaves are thicker and seem less delicate. It has similar care instructions to the Chinese Money Plant – but it’s not a Chinese Money Plant.

Availability: 2 in stock

This goes with

Light : Bright light will keep this plant happy. Hot bright afternoon sun can scorch the leaves. Also would tolerate some light shade.

Water:  Let her soil dry out between waterings. These are easy to over water because the stems and lower leaves store water for a later date so do water with caution.

Humidity: You won’t need to mist this one.

Temperature: Normal household temperature will suit her down to the ground.

Food:  You can feed your peperomia monthly in the warmer months.

Toxicity:  Bring it on – these guys are super safe for all your nippy little creatures.

Dimensions 14 × 40 cm

A leggy plant is asking for more sun. If you like her leggy then I wouldn’t worry. If she’s a bit lopsided you can rotate when you water.
